Vape sticks
This was an article
suggested to me by google. I believe that an opportunity will exist here,
because of the staggering amount of vaping users. The FDA is thinking of banning
it to slow down the usage among young adults and children under the age of 18.
This offers a significant opportunity for someone to come in and make a 100%
nicotine and harsh chemical free vape stick. Kids started doing it because of
the “cool” cloud of smoke the taste, and something to do with their hands. So I
think if a non-harsh version could be created and FDA approved it would sell
like crazy. Others haven’t done this because it could be impossible to make it
safe. If easily made this exploit would be relatively simple.
Others may not have seen
this opportunity because the only ones in the field are the tobacco companies
and they would prefer customers to be smoking the addictive nicotine and
spending more money on that version than a safe one may bring. My emotions
played a big role here as I hate vapes because I think many users don’t
understand that vapes are still very dangerous.
Trumps wall
This is the talk of the town it’s
on every news media platform. I believe an opportunity exists because it will
require lots of man power machinery and raw materials like concrete and steel.
The only customer in this case would be the government. This would be extremely
difficult to exploit. A. getting the contract would be nearly impossible. B.
Who knows if it passes. C. Getting those materials and such would be very very
expensive. I’m sure many people have seen this as an opportunity and have all
tried to get the contract. There is nothing in my past that makes this stand
out, anyone can see the opportunity here.
Malls closing
Malls closing are offering up some
huge advantages and opportunities, I read about this during my local
opportunities blog post. I think this
offers an opportunity for the land to be better used. Most malls are located in
great locations such as downtown or next to highways offering a great location
to put other useful facilities or parks. For instance my local mall that is
starting to shut the doors is only a mile or so away from the Daytona 500
track, the mall parking lot could easily be transformed into a parking space for
the track earning lots of money. Have a park and shuttle to major events for a
fraction of the cost of parking at the actual track parking lots, which are
even further away. For other malls they can be transformed into parking
amusement parks restaurants get away and so on. I think that this opportunity
would be easily exploited it would just cost a large upfront cost.
My experience with the Daytona 500 track and
other mall locations provided me with the needed information.
Smaller motorcycles sales up
motorcycles down
I found this topic from a few
different motorcycle youtubers, and some news articles after deeper
investigating. I believe this suggests
an opportunity to build small motorcycles with a mean personality because it
appears that the millennial market is being neglected by a large amount of
manufacturers, and this appears to be what is wanted in a bike. Millennials
older riders and new riders. I think it would be kind of difficult to build up
the brand name as well make it seem like the motorcycle is worth the money. It
would be still a difficult task as Honda and Kawasaki have entries, and they
would the juggernauts. I was able to see this as an opportunity because the big
manufacturers are neglecting the market, and I’m now involved in this market
and feel underwhelmed with the available machines.
Hi Richard! I found your information you gathered for this assignment very interesting. The first opportunity you found in regards to vaping was very interesting. Juul's are the rage right now and many people are unaware of the possible damage on their health. The opportunity to create a new source similar to a juul is there and would do great if it succeeded.
ReplyDeleteHey Richard great post! I found your opportunity on vaping very interesting. Our generation was supposed to be the one that quit tobacco for good. However, vaping has made smoking more attractive to teens and that is a serious problem. I think if a healthy alternative was made available it would be a big hit among the younger crowd. Another thing I found interesting was the wall. I’m not a big fan of the idea but if you throw some solar panels on it and pay a large amount of workers than why not.
