Opportunity- The opportunity I see is offering an experience that is unmatched. People my age are constantly complaining about there being nothing to do I want to change this, and help build a future company with the successes of this project. I want to start by offering riders of all ages and experience a fun and unique riding experience that they may not be able to do by themselves. I want to offer off-roading experiences including dirt bikes, dune buggies, four wheelers and so on. I also want to teach riders the basics.  The need is growing as more people are looking for an experience instead of material things hence why malls are going towards making them a fun experience as well as a store. Innovation- My idea is a very complex idea that starts out with simple services, but evolves into a complex plan and company. To begin I want to take advantage of my current resources starting a local company that will rent out dirt bikes and motorcycles, as well as start a motorcycle c...

My most formative experience definitely was the assignment where we had to build our social capital through talking to business owners and experts in our field. That will also last the longest in my mind to because I built a relation with someone I never before that, and he has taught me a few things, and we even ride together every once and awhile. The most joyous experience was coming up with a bug list because it wasn’t hard, but it was hard at the same time so it pushed me to think and understand why things bug people not just it irritates people. My most proud is the assignment where we developed a plan for making and ending an opportunity. I don’t think I have an entrepreneurial mindset that is any more than than it used to be for instance I’ve always been thinking of businesses that could make me money. Although one difference is that I am more aware of getting into the minds to see if it will be liked or needed. For future students I recommend that they work diligently a...

In the next 5 years I see myself continuing the business I have a planned for the long term with lots of time and dedication needed to really turn it into the thriving empire of powersports I want it to become. When I am ready to retire I would definitely get out of it by selling it to the highest bidder. I’ve selected this method because A. the company would take a long time to actually become something, I would most likely turn it into a corporation so that I could get out of the game but still be able to be rewarded for starting the business and turning it into the success it would become. I would choose this as my method of choice because it would be less stressful, as well as I currently don’t plan on ever having children so no family to pass it on to. It changes how I would acquire resources because I would like to get the company into a thriving business before turning it into the corporation. Also I would be acquiring better equipment that would be able to last a long t...

A time that I failed this semester once when I was trying to replace the computer on my motorcycle. I had just bought my new motorcycle in January, and it’s the first year of my specific model to there were no tutorials or youtube videos on how to do it. It was all up to me. I started by just trying to pop off the fender like I used to do on on my model, which failed of course. The next thing I did was found out all the Allen key screws after removing those I figured that was it, but it didn’t move an inch. So I put the screws in and called it a day. The next day with a little more light out I figured I could definitely get it off this time after investigating the bike and taking many attempts I finally found these little dots around the fenders that looked like where screws would go, I soon found out they were screws, I tried to just pull them out at first to real progress, and turned to google to see if I could find out if they were on other models of bikes, they weren’t… So I tur...

Opportunity- The opportunity I see is one that focuses on offering a new fun motorcycle for unlicensed riders that would be competing against mopeds. I would also offer a few different services the biggest one is a new way to give a motorcycle license course. Right now most people hate having to take that course because they only are taking it because they have to not really to learn how to ride. The need I see is one not only teaches the course, but also makes it fun to do as well. I think that this opportunity has always been there, but it is becoming more relevant to build the class off of an experience as fewer people are getting into the sport of motorcycling, but I think by offering the class as a fun experience it can get more people interested. The market shift is cross the board where people want to get an experience out of everything they do take for instance malls having to include waterparks and entertainment like that. Currently the need is satisfied by a basic course tha...

Ambition this will drive me to continuously evolve my product making it better. This is valuable rare and can’t be duplicated this is something that you must possess when you are born not everyone is. Hard work I am not afraid to put the hours of grind into making the business thrive. Few people are willing to put in the work they want easy jobs or a quick buck not to work hard and long. I have been developing an extensive social network with a lot of riders I see as wanting to get into motorcycles. If others want to imitate they won’t have this. Getting the first few riders is the difficult part and I feel like I already have those first few. I am friends with skilled riders who are willing to help teach in order to teach riders you must have riders who know the laws and know the basics as well as the advance things. Knowing riders who can teach safety as well as stunts is unique and hard to find. Friends with many mechanics who work on motorcycles and or motorsport vehi...

2. So the feedback kind of taught me that I should be more consistent with my message, and I agree the last one was all over the place this one I changed it up a little and tried to stay consistent with getting new riders into the sport. 3. So what I did was tried to stay on point the whole time sticking to the same message of getting new riders into the sport. I also tried to be a little less gloomy in my speech. Finally I did this whole thing off the top of my head, which I hope helped with tone instead of a boring reading voice.
