Opportunity- The opportunity I see is one that focuses on offering a new fun motorcycle for unlicensed riders that would be competing against mopeds. I would also offer a few different services the biggest one is a new way to give a motorcycle license course. Right now most people hate having to take that course because they only are taking it because they have to not really to learn how to ride. The need I see is one not only teaches the course, but also makes it fun to do as well. I think that this opportunity has always been there, but it is becoming more relevant to build the class off of an experience as fewer people are getting into the sport of motorcycling, but I think by offering the class as a fun experience it can get more people interested. The market shift is cross the board where people want to get an experience out of everything they do take for instance malls having to include waterparks and entertainment like that. Currently the need is satisfied by a basic course tha...

Ambition this will drive me to continuously evolve my product making it better. This is valuable rare and can’t be duplicated this is something that you must possess when you are born not everyone is. Hard work I am not afraid to put the hours of grind into making the business thrive. Few people are willing to put in the work they want easy jobs or a quick buck not to work hard and long. I have been developing an extensive social network with a lot of riders I see as wanting to get into motorcycles. If others want to imitate they won’t have this. Getting the first few riders is the difficult part and I feel like I already have those first few. I am friends with skilled riders who are willing to help teach in order to teach riders you must have riders who know the laws and know the basics as well as the advance things. Knowing riders who can teach safety as well as stunts is unique and hard to find. Friends with many mechanics who work on motorcycles and or motorsport vehi...

2. So the feedback kind of taught me that I should be more consistent with my message, and I agree the last one was all over the place this one I changed it up a little and tried to stay consistent with getting new riders into the sport. 3. So what I did was tried to stay on point the whole time sticking to the same message of getting new riders into the sport. I also tried to be a little less gloomy in my speech. Finally I did this whole thing off the top of my head, which I hope helped with tone instead of a boring reading voice.

There was a very consistent theme throughout this book with it all relating to setting up the perfect marketing scheme. Touching on the basics of how to make it where potential customers will come view your site,  this can be done in a variety of online ways such as blogs, google and search engines, and social media sites. Then how to build an attractive website for visitors. Then comes the next part of turning visitors into prospects, then into leads and finally into the almighty customer. Then it finally touches on the importance of watching the competition and hiring the right people for the job. This book connects to ENT 3003 because it’s all about getting a customer and doing that through marketing and hiring the right people. ENT is all about making the successful business and this does just that by explaining how you get people to visit your website and how to turn a visitor into a customer who comes back and buys things on a regular basis. If I had to create an assig...

Domain expert is a mechanic at a shop and has been working on motorcycles for the past 20 years he is expert in motor rebuilding, but works a lot of with cosmetic things like exhausts replacing fenders and has experience tuning bikes and running dynos. I found this person because he is the mechanic I go to when ever I need/want work done on my bike. Nothing is expected in return except he wants to provide good service so I come back. It offers an opportunity because he could give technical advice for building a motor and getting the most performance by tuning it. Expert Ron is a salesman at a motorcycle dealer. He has been selling motorcycles for 10 years now and has been riding for over 40 years. I found and contacted this person by going to the dealership. Both my dad and I have both bought en a motorcycle from him both bikes he recommended based on our needs. He just wants to keep a good relation since me and my dad keep sending him business and being his business. He will enhan...

idea napkin 2

I grew up working in a mechanics shop for hot rods and then working on personal motorcycles and dirt bikes all through my childhood. So I am mechanically inclined. I think that by opening this business it can start as a way to enter the market, and finally build the company into a manufacturing company. I think a good idea would be to have a rental station for scooters. Right now we have car rentals and motorcycle rentals, but we don’t have scooters, and being that we are in a town that thrives on scooters as transportation I think this could be a very affordable way for students to get around town if they don’t have the funds to buy a scooter. My target market at first is going to be college towns that rely heavily on scooter transportation, so it would be a younger population at first in developed city areas. Eventually though it could be moved to target the city population as a whole. Customers will pay me money because currently students either have to take a bus, which dras...

I didn't really change anything since I didn't get any feedback on my first post.

My prototypical customer is going to be a man in the age range of 16-22 for my beginning segment, but eventually will come to include some older customers as well. For my beginning segment it will consist of young men looking to get into motorcycles for the first time. As for there jobs it will be lower income positions or no job at all. Ideally I will be looking to target college men. As for hobbies they will most likely be of the athletic type for instance being active at the gym and participating in sports. They currently most likely don’t have a vehicle or have a cheap car. As for shows they’re most likely into action or sports related shows like NFL, NHL etc…. No children. Probably not big readers or into politics. They are adrenaline seekers and penny pinchers they are looking for a deal. I have a lot in common with this prototypical customer. When I got my first bike I say I fit almost every single one of those categories. This is definitely not a coincidence I came up with ...

SECRET SAUCE

Five things that truly make me unique are as follows. My empathy I can relate to a lot of people because I grew up in many different situations surrounded by many different kinds of people. As a kid I grew up in the projects and when I was adopted I grew up in the middle to upper class. I’m a fast paced hard worker. I always strive to get the job done and to try and complete it better than anyone else. At work I always try to fulfil the most transactions. Very talkative. I can talk to anyone about just about anything. I talk to my roommate about his engineering class, and I haven’t even taken a physics course before. Very outside the box thinker I tend to make weird conclusions, and think of weird solutions to problems. Finally my emotions I tend to be a very emotionless person at times when it comes to making decisions, but I can also show them a lot. I can get angry quickly if the right buttons are pushed. Dani- Most of what she touched on...

Kyle- When you were first looking at getting transportation for school what is the most important factor that led to your decision? Price and reliability were the most important. Did anything else matter to you such as style? Style did matter to a degree didn’t want a vespa style scooter wanted a “manly” style. No license requirement was a demand as well as easy maintenance. When he bought his scooter he paid with a debit card in person at a dealership. For his experience at the dealership he said the salesman did have an impact on the sale. Reasons he felt good about the decision was the reliability it offered, and it wasn’t too costly. He said if it broke down a lot he would of regretted the decision. For this person online reviews were important to him prior to the purchase mostly about reliability. During the buying experience the expert opinion also had a dramatic impact on which scooter was picked. Reliability I think was by far the most important factor to all the consumer...
